SCS Global Services is a third-party environmental and sustainability certification, auditing, testing, and standards development service. Their independent verification of supply chain traceability, wild-capture fisheries, and aquaculture operations help ensure that client claims are credible, transparent, and promote increased market access. SCS issued the first MSC Fishery and Chain of Custody certificates in 2000, and is a founding contributor of the ASC. SCS’ sustainable seafood staff have also participated in the label’s Technical Advisory Group.
